Introduction
I am a BFA-recognised Focusing Practitioner with over ten years of experience. I am part of the LGBTQI+ community and work with FLINTA communities.
What services do I offer?
I mainly offer one-to-one sessions but can offer workshops on request. We can work using Focusing and/or Reiki. In Focusing sessions with me you can expect to begin to trust in your felt sense of issues in your life. You’ll learn to tap into the meaning held in your felt sense by accessing your body as well as your mind. Shifts happen gently as you watch, listen and interact with parts of yourself. These parts begin to feel heard after all this time being pushed down. Uncovering layers of yourself will create a feeling of warmth or a lightening of the issue.
Focusing isn’t only a practice that can help us cope with feelings, it can also help us direct our lives from within. Focusing can become part of your tool kit that helps you understand your experiences and bring meaning back.
Once you know Focusing you’ll always be able to do it – that may be with a Practitioner, a Focusing partner, alone or most often with a combination of ways of working. Focusing is a process that takes time to learn and develop. I suggest that new clients give themselves the experience of at least 4 sessions to get a feel for it.
One-to-one session price is £40 on Zoom. I can also offer 5 online session at a block price of £180. Please contact me if you need concessions.
My background in Focusing
Focusing has been embedded in my life for over a decade. I currently give Focusing guest lecture workshops on a university counselling course and work one-to-one with clients online. I can work in person on request.
I have facilitated workshops using Focusing in art-making as well as workshops using Focusing as a therapeutic modality. If you would like me to run a workshop please be in touch.

Testimonials
I found the focusing very powerful and it brought up a lot of stuff for me that I’ve taken into my therapy.
Nikki, Counsellor in training
Thank you so much for the sessions we had today and yesterday. I found them very useful, rich and enlightening. As well as tender and sweet.
Ania, Singer/Songwriter
The last sessions I had with you were very powerful and I feel as though I need to trust my focusing process to find more inner space.
Daniel Cunningham, Performance Artist. Visiting Lecturer.
It was very nice to have a space and time to be creative and listen inside myself – and to be guided through it. Also, to share and hear from others. Thank you.
